Day 1: THE TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK (The Elephant paradise)

You will be picked by your guide from the hotel at around 07:30hrs. and drive to Tarangire national park which takes approx. 2.5 hrs. covering 120 km. The huge trunked trees (the baobab) welcome you to the park which are the major attractions together with huge herds of elephants seen scattered in the variety habitats of the Tarangire national park. We also have antelopes, lions, leopards and more than 350 species of birds and hence a great site for the bird lovers. The park is normally hot between 30-35 degrees at most annually. You will have a picnic Lunch and later at around 16:00hrs leave the park and drive to Karatu or Manyara town for your dinner and overnight.

Day 2: THE SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK (THE SAVANNAH WITH NO ENDS)

 Leave the hotel or camp at 09:00hrs and head to the Serengeti via the Ngorongoro conservation Area. The road is rough and dusty from the NCAA gate that brings you to these huge multitudes of zebras and wildebeests accompanied by hyenas, jackals and sometimes lions as you enter the southern plains of the Serengeti. You will have your lunch at Naabi hill gate and thereafter proceed with your game drive that brings to the lodge/campsite at 18:00 hrs for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: TRANSFER TO THE NORTHERN SERENGETI.

After a full night of wild sounds from the nocturnal predators, you will now have an experience of what it means being in the wilderness. After breakfast, leave the lodge/camp and head to the north with game drive en route accompanied by your lunch pots. The drive takes approx. 4-5 hrs. on rough and dusty roads.  You will drive to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: FULL DAY GAME DRIVE IN THE NORTH.

The game drive today concentrates along the Mara River and some adjacent plains.

Day 5: TRANSFER TO CENTRAL SERENGETI.

Drive to the central Serengeti with game drive en route with a picnic lunch.

Day 6: TRANSFER TO THE NGORONGORO HIGHLANDS.

Your day starts early at 06:00 to catch the sunrise and thereafter proceed with game drive for half day before exiting the Serengeti. In the afternoon you will drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area at a camp/lodge for your dinner and overnight.

Day 7: THE WORLD’S EIGHTH WONDER (THE CRATER)

Leave the lodge/camp at 06:00hrs and drive into the crater accompanied by your breakfast that will be served on the crater’s floor. You will be in crater for a day enjoying the beautiful scenery and approximately 25000 animals that includes lions, zebras, wild beasts, elephants, hippos, antelopes and the endangered black rhino to mention but a few. At around 15:00hrs you will leave the crater and head to Karatu/Manyara for your dinner and overnight.

Day 8: CULTURAL WALK AT MTO WA MBU TOWN.

The agricultural and market town of Mto Wa Mbu stands next to the entrance of Lake Manyara National Park at the foot of the Gregory escarpment. The enormous amount of ground water pouring through the rocks of the escarpment has created a lush green swamp here, and the locals are excellent farmers, growing everything from bananas, sweet potatoes, maize, citrus fruits, rice and vegetables. You will have a 4-5hrs walk into villages, banana / rice farms, markets and local shops that leaves you with memories of a lifetime.

You will embark on your truck in the early afternoon and commence your drive to Arusha/Moshi/Airport.
