Tour Overview

Embark on a three days journey through Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Hadzabe tribe’s territory. In Tarangire, witness the iconic baobab trees and diverse wildlife, including elephants and lions. Explore the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned for its dense animal population and stunning landscapes. Conclude your adventure with a cultural immersion experience alongside the Hadzabe tribe, learning about their traditional way of life and survival techniques.



Day 1: Tarangire National Park

Leave the hotel in Arusha/ Moshi early after breakfast and drive to Tarangire national park located at 120 km from Arusha. The drive takes approximately 2hrs. After registration at the main gate, your game drive to meet the long awaiting elephant herds begins. You will be served your lunch at a picnic site within the park. Your game drive continues and thereafter leave this beautiful wildlife sanctuary and drive to Mto wa Mbu town/ Karatu for your dinner and overnight.

 Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater.

Leave the camp/lodge at 06:00 hrs after an early breakfast and head to Ngorongoro’s main gate. After registration, your drive in a 4×4 through the thick mountain forest starts which brings you to the crater’s view point that gives you a ten minutes break enjoying this astonishing scenery. You will then descend 610m down into the Ngorongoro crater where more than 25000 animals including zebras, wildebeests, elephants, hippos and gazelles will be awaiting. You will be within the walls of this world’s eighth wonder until around 14:00 hrs when you will ascend the walls and head to the foots of the Ngorongoro highlands along Lake Eyasi at camp/ lodge for dinner and overnight. This evening you will meet an expert guide who has a long-standing relationship with the Hadzabe people who will give you more information about the group and a brief on the next day’s plan.

Day 3: Hadzabe

The day starts early at around 05:00 hrs when you leave the camp/lodge with a cup of our delicious coffee to join the Hadza people on a hunting expedition that starts before sunrise. Their bush skills are something that has been long forgotten across much of Africa and time spent with the Hadza offers a very raw and authentic cultural experience something you will never forget.

In the early afternoon your drive back to Moshi/Arusha/Airport begins.
